About the founder:

Capper GmbH is led by Ben Capper, a furniture consultant with 25+ years of international experience and zero tolerance for boring design.

For 17 years he ran an award-winning interior consultancy in Manchester UK, working with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea FC, Rothschilds Bank and Westminster Courts — while staying close to the local design scene, sponsoring events and backing emerging talent. He sold the business in 2015 and moved to Switzerland for a new challenge.

After five years as Head of Design Strategy at a leading Zürich interiors company, Ben went independent — co-founding Works magazine in 2021, before going on to create Capper GmbH in 2023.

At Capper GmbH, Ben is supported by Carina Oertle: a furniture professional with over 10 years experience managing complex furniture and interior projects for discerning clients.

Our focus:

Founded in 2023 near Zürich, Capper GmbH is the exclusive Agent throughout Switzerland and Liechtenstein for four hand-picked furniture brands:

+Halle , Arco, Bla Station and THEO.

As the Agent for these brands, Capper GmbH supports architects, designers and furniture professionals with information, official pricelists, samples and advice, to ensure working with our collections is fun and stress-free. Developing these brands throughout Switzerland and Liechtenstein, and supporting our clients is the primary focus of the business.

Our furniture brands produce sustainably-minded collections for the places where people come together — workplaces, hotels, public spaces, education, gastronomy and places of worship — plus pieces for the home. Check out the brands section of the site for more.

We exist to promote new, innovative furniture design — and to give the architects, designers and specifiers who work with us service worth coming back for. We love what we do, and we hope that feeling is contagious.

The brands we represent are deliberately different: fresh, design-led collections that bring something new to the modern interior. Furniture should be fun as well as functional, so we choose pieces that provoke a reaction and push boundaries — while respecting the environment.
