Who?
Capper GmbH was founded by Ben Capper, a furniture consultant with over 25 years international experience.
Ben owned and ran an award-winning interior consultancy in Manchester UK for 17 years with world-renowned clients such as Manchester United Football Club, Rothschilds Bank, Westminster Courts, Chelsea FC and many more. The business was a close part of the architectural and design community, sponsoring architectural events and helping local industrial design students find their way in the furniture industry. After a fantastic journey, Ben sold the business in 2015 and moved to Switzerland for a new challenge.
After 5 years gaining valuable experience at a leading Zürich interiors company as Head of Design Strategy, Ben began to work as an independent furniture consultant and advisor, before founding Capper GmbH.
What?
Capper GmbH was formed in 2023 as a furniture agency and consultancy based near Zürich, Switzerland. The business is the exclusive agent throughout Switzerland and Liechtenstein for a number of hand-picked furniture brands.
These brands specialise in producing sustainably-focused furniture collections for places where people come together. This can be hotels, workplaces, public spaces, education, gastronomy, or places of worship. It can also mean furniture for the home, such as dining tables and chairs. Capper GmbH exists to promote new innovative furniture design, whilst providing high quality service and support to architects, interior designers and furniture professionals that seek to work with our unique brands.
We choose to represent fresh, alternative and new furniture design, with sustainably-produced furniture collections that offer something different for the modern interior. Furniture should be fun as well as functional and design-led. Our collections are specifically chosen to provoke a reaction, push boundaries - whilst respecting the environment.
